I Am Afraid.
You say that you love rain,
but you open your umbrella when it rains…
You say that you love the sun,
but you find a shadow spot when the sun shines…
You say that you love the wind,
but you close your windows when wind blows…
This is why I am afraid;
You say that you love me too…..

This delightful poem has been in circulation for a while with several attributions to it`s name; Shakespeare and Bob Marley have been put in the frame rather in hope than belief. But the mystery continues as to the genuine source, although some say it has a Turkish feel to it`s lyrical construction.
The author is walking on the broken glass of uncertainty, as questions begin to arise as to how transient and fragile human affection can be when assailed by doubt.
